As usual, we have been hard at work! Check out our new class bulletin! We wrote about what we like to do in the winter!
We also have some really cute hibernating bears on our classroom doors!
Last week, we learned about black bears and this week we will be learning about panda bears!
We have been writing A LOT! Extra practice writing a sentence at home can only benefit your child. If they wish to write a complete sentence at home and illustrate a picture to go with it, they can bring it in to share and get a treat from the prize box.
A complete sentence includes....
-In pencil
-Uppercase letter at beginning of the sentence
-Finger spacing in between each word
-Punctuation at the end of each sentence
-Spell phonetically (spelling does not have to be perfect). I would rather them sound it out on their own to help them get proficient with sounding out and writing independently, rather than copy a sentence that an adult wrote.
100th Day is Happening next Friday, February 9th! A letter will be going home to explain 100th Day tomorrow!
*Please work on tying shoes
**THANK YOU to everyone who donated supplies for February. We have everything we need!
Have a wonderful week!
