This has been an amazing week, filled with lots of exploration! We learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin, carved a pumpkin and learned about its different parts. We also had a visit from our Art teacher Mrs. Chalson and created a Jack-o-lantern out of our shapes.
We made estimates in math and estimated how many seeds were in our pumpkin and created a pumpkin report with math facts about our class pumpkin. We then counted our seeds and compared estimates to see who was the closest! We had 200 seeds in our pumpkin, so we counted to 100 twice!
We had our first music lesson with Mr. Saunders and the students loved every minute of it! They are learning to listen and follow directions and sounds as well as some new songs.
Our classroom is decorated with all of our hard work so here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
Have a wonderful fall weekend!
