I hope everyone enjoyed their nice long weekend!
We ended last week with our First Community Meeting. Kindergarten did an amazing job being Safe, Respectful and Responsible Bobcats while listening to the band and their fellow Bobcats reading their hard work up on stage!
On Thursday of this week, we will be having our yearly Evacuation Drill. As a school we need to practice these types of drills in case there is a real emergency. The drill will begin at 8:30am and last about an hour or less. The students will know it is coming and there will be nothing scary or worrisome about it. If you are going to be late to school that day, please note that the front office will be shut down after 8:30am and no students will be let in late OR dismissed early (before 9:30am). Please plan accordingly.
Report cards will be going home December 7th (Kindergarten is different from the rest of the school. We run on a Trimester report card, where the rest of the school is quarterly).
This week I will be assessing students in a variety of skills and we will be reviewing all skills learned thus far in kindergarten.
I am SO proud of my students as should you be! They are working hard and improving everyday!
