News this week:
First of all a HUGE thank you to everyone who donated supplies for our December STEM/activities...it is greatly appreciated!
Just a reminder that grades close this week and report cards will be sent home electronically the week after next. These grades reflect the first part of second grade where we focused a lot on classroom expectations and routines. This year is a the first time these students have been in a classroom full-time, so there was an adjustment period. I am extremely confident in my class this year and wanted to show a photo of what second graders hard at work looks like. In this photo, students read a book about fall or Thanksgiving and then wrote a Book Review on it. I was so proud that I needed to stop and snap a photo...such focus!!! My bucket is overflowing!!!
