Hello Kindness Crew! I miss you so much! Tell your parents to snap a photo of you working from home and send it to me...I would love to post it on our website tonight so we can see each other working and stay connected!
Here are your assignments for the day.
Love, Mrs. LeBourveau
Read - Find a great book, and read for at least 20 minutes! If you finish, make sure you login to Reading Counts to take a quiz. (login info is posted under my Approved Webites/Login tab).
English/Language Arts - Grammar - Contractions - Log onto NBCS, Learning Library Commons. Click on Brain Pop Jr. (passwords have all been placed under the Approved Websites/Logins Tab)
Enter “Contractions” into search bar
Watch 5 minute Video on Contractions
Take 5 Questions Quiz at the end.
We have attached a PDF of a practice page below. We do not need this page returned to us. This is just for some at-home practice. We are hoping that this can be completed with someone at home, to monitor for mistakes. Feel free to print it out for practice, but your second grader can write their answers on a separate piece of paper, or complete them orally, as well.

Let's Get some WIGGLES OUT and take a Brain Break! -
Go Noodle - Milk Shake - https://family.gonoodle.com/activities/milkshake
Go Noodle is a great web-based resource that helps get your body moving. Check out the attached link...I will start posting a new brain break each day! Get the WHOLE FAMILY TO JOIN IN!!!
Math -
Today in math, you are going to visit Everyday Math online again, to explore another part of the online program. This part of the program is called the e toolkit. Please click on the video below to get an overview of the tools, and a few suggestions on how to use them.

Once you have logged into Everyday Math Online, you are going to click on the e toolkit. Once there, we would like you to spend a little time exploring the different resources that are available. Have fun! Create a picture with pattern blocks, or practice skip counting on a 100 grid.
Once you have explored the e toolkit, you are going to choose either a time math deck, or a money math deck. We want you to flip over each card, and either read the time, or add up the coins on the card, and either say the time, or the sum of the coins on the card.
When you finish, let your classroom teacher know what your favorite tool or background was, from when you did some exploring.
Have an AMAZING day!
